There are many ways to grow the value of your business. Not all business owners know what these are. Some do, but aren’t sure how they can implement them into their company.

This is where I come in. I’m a specialist in helping to grow the value of your business. If you want to increase your business’ value, I will implement these eight key drivers of value into your business, helping to grow its value, and turn you into a seriously desirable asset.

Value Driver #1: Financial Performance

This may seem clear, but it’s not quite as easy to deliver. Understanding your top line revenue and your bottom line profit, and reporting these numbers in a quality, defendable manner, is a great starting point for building the value of your business. I can help you ensure your numbers are clear, correct, and able to withstand any kind of scrutiny.

Value Driver #2: Growth Potential

It’s tempting to value your business based on what you’ve done in the past. After all, you should be proud of what you’ve achieve in your history as a business. But a potential buyer isn’t valuing your business based on what happened in the past – they’re valuing you on what the future looks like, in terms of streams of profit. I aim to grow the value of your business through multiple avenues of profit, making your business an extremely valuable asset.

Value Driver #3: The Switzerland Structure

Your company should be like Switzerland if you want to be seen as valuable; an entirely independent entity not dedicated to any one group of people. Whether it’s your customer, employee, or supplier, I’ll help prevent you from becoming dependent on any singular form of these three groups, and being wholly diversified as a business.

Value Driver #4: The Valuation Teeter-Totter

The relationship between the way cash moves through your business and the value of that cash, is much like a teeter-totter at a park. The more cash you’re able to move through your business, the more valuable that cash, and your business, are going to be. By diversifying your profit streams and moving cash through your business, I will ensure you can grow the value of your business.

Value Driver #5: Recurring Revenue

Simply put, the more recurring revenue your business has, the more valuable it will be. If your business can not only survive, but thrive, without your presence, your value is going to be much greater than it would be if your business is dependent on you as the owner. I can provide you with plenty of ideas for recurring revenue streams so you can climb this ladder of value.

Value Driver #6: Monopoly of Control

The more you control your pricing, the more margin you make. This allows you to stay different in the marketplace and maintain the attention of your customers. If you can do these things, your value as a business will steadily increase.

Value Driver #7: Customer Satisfaction

The satisfaction of your customers is an obvious driver of value for your business. The more data you have about your customer’s happiness towards your product, the more that outsiders will be able to see the strength of your customer base.

Value Driver #8: Hub and Spoke

The key component of the Hub and Spoke value driver is ensuring your business becomes less dependent on you personally. A great way to do that is to solidify and document your processes. This way, you’ll know your business can keep being the efficient machine it is, even when you’re not there.
